P3P
Platform for Privacy Preferences (P3P) is a new protocol that allows users to be assured of their privacy based on a set of general definable privacy criteria built in to their browser to allow them to browse a website without recourse to reviewing each and every websites privacy policy. Developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) it is intended that this functionality be entrenched into the way in which the World Wide Web operates with integration into browser technologies to define how a users personal information can be requested.
The College is committed to employing protocols, when available; to assure users that only information that is necessary to the operation of the task at hand is obtained.

The College is registered with the Information Commissioner (Registration number Z4649734) responsible for the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Freedom of Information Act 2000. All College data systems including the website comply the requirements under the Act.

Chelmsford College is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others.
Demographic Information
We will not sell or share aggregated demographic information with our partners, customers and visitors to our web site. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
