Our Facilities
Chelmsford College is situated on three sites and Central Essex Training has access to the facilities at all three ensuring that your course is delivered in the right environment.
At Moulsham Street there are fully equipped workshops housing the Electrical and Engineering departments. At Princes Road there are Construction and Painting & Decorating workshops and an extensive Catering facility. Both Moulsham Street and Princes Road sites house classrooms that are fitted with state of the art equipment.
The third site, Copleston Court is located in the heart of the city opposite the bus terminal and adjacent to the train station. Within the centre we have fully equipped meeting and presentation rooms and an IT Suite.
If you are looking for a venue to conduct training, we are able to hire out rooms at a competitive price across all 3 sites. The 2 main campuses are able to offer rooms and equipment in more specialist areas, like engineering, but availability is limited. The Copleston Court site makes a very convenient venue for attendees travelling from different areas and there is usually more availability on rooms.

Princes Room Restaurant
The Princes Room is a 40-seat restaurant located on the Princes Road campus of the College. It is open to the general public Tues – Fri lunch times 12pm-3pm from October to Mid-June (term time only).
The purpose of the restaurant is to provide a real experience for learners on catering and hospitality courses. The menu is varied and of a high quality. A full 3-course lunch including coffee is £6.80 per head. There is a licensed bar available to those dining.
Evening dinner is on Wednesdays at 6.30pm for 7pm. A 3 course dinner with coffee is £12 per head.
The Princes Room is available to companies and groups for individual functions – breakfasts, lunches, dinners, buffets and parties.
